Inclusive play area
Complete with various sprays, and an inclusive play structure, the inclusive play area is built for enjoying the water outside of the pool. This area has the ability to be open even during the Aquatic Center's off season, or when it is closed. Separated by barrier fencing, connected with wide open gates, the features located in this area are attractive to those with sensory needs, or who aren't looking for fully emersive pool play.
The play structure adds an attractive element of play. As guests watch the dumping bucket fill, anticipation of the large splash of water builds. Located on the play structure are two spray cannons, both are easily accessible, and allow for interaction between guests inside and outside of the play structure. A tall spray can be rotated around the structure, allowing for a cause and reaction effect. Aside from the various water sprays, two small slides and an inclusive access entry also provide additional opportunities for interaction between the play area and the structure.
splash deck sprays
Various styles of sprays are located within the inclusive play area. Ranging in size, shape, spray height and spray pattern. Each feature allows for various interactions from tall to small. Providing a variety of sprays also allow for those with special sensory needs to connect with the water at a level of their own choosing.
From the subtle color choices to the statement graphics, the play features express Creston's strong ties to the Railroad. Giving the space a fun and colorful element that is unique to the new MPAC.
